Liz: Good idea, I wonder what event is on now.
Doug: [Turns on TV] Ah, darn! Just boring diving. The U.S. always wins. It's so predictable.
Liz: Not really. China won the gold in the men's springboard in the last two Olympics.
Doug: I don't really understand it anyway.
Liz: What we're watching is a five-meter platform event.
Doug: You'd have to put a gun to my head to make me jump from five meters.
Liz: There are also ten-meter platform dives.
Doug: What happens if you belly flop from that high up?
Liz: Not only would it really hurt, but the judges would also give you a zero.
